The Myth is a continuation of the solitary figure’s journey, this painting explores the idea of the energy and impact we leave behind. The lone traveler from the first work has entered a new environment, where the once-solitary path opens into a crowded city filled with people. Though the original figure is no longer at the center, the essence of their journey remains present wrapping around each individual as flowing lines of light and movement, suggesting that their presence, courage, and inspiration have been carried forward and absorbed by others, influencing many different lives. Each figure carries a trace of that original energy, suggesting that inspiration does not end with the person who first creates it, it is passed from person to person, becoming part of a collective story and continuing as a legacy.

Materials: Acrylic, gel medium, and gesso on canvas.

Style: Contemporary expressive landscape / figurative painting with impressionistic and abstract elements, expressive brushwork, layered texture, and atmospheric lighting.

Dimensions: Approximately 11 × 14 inches

Year Created: 2026
